Q1 2021 Performance of Top Consumer Finance Apps on Android in Europe

As we delve into the first quarter of 2021, Sensor Tower provides a snapshot of the top five consumer finance applications on the Android platform in Europe. Here's a look at their performance during this period.

Google Wallet, a product of Google LLC, showed a downward trend in downloads, starting the quarter with 317K and ending at 221K. Despite this, weekly active users rose from 4.9M to 5.8M, indicating a growing user base.

T.C. Ziraat Bankası A.Ş.’s Ziraat Mobile experienced fluctuations in downloads, peaking at 118K in early January and closing the quarter at around 102K. The weekly active users, however, saw a notable increase from 5.7M to 6.4M, reflecting a strong user engagement.

Poste Italiane S.p.A.'s BancoPosta showed a decrease in downloads from 50K to 23K. The weekly active users also reflected a slight decline, starting at 592K and dropping to 581K by the end of March.

Sparkasse Ihre mobile Filiale, from Star Finanz GmbH, saw a mixed trend with downloads initially rising to 37K in early January but dipping to 25K by the end of March. The app’s weekly active users showed a positive trend, growing from 3.6M to 3.9M.

Lastly, Paysafe Holdings UK Limited's paysafecard - prepaid payments saw a slight decline in downloads, from 40K to 27K, and its weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 140K throughout the quarter.
